Still Alive

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that, yes, we are still alive. We are working on options for a new computer with my super-talented brother. Hopefully we'll get a new one soon. For right now, I'm not uploading any new pictures to my computer so that I don't lose them, so all the things I talk about in the post will have to come with a rain check for pictures. Sorry!

Other than that, we've been really busy. Brian took me to see RENT for mother's day and we had a wonderful time.
(No I did not take this picture! I found it online.)
The cast was amazing! Collins was played by Anwar from AI season 4. It was THE best I'll Cover You Reprise I've ever heard. It was so nice to get out on a date with my husband! It was also nice to see 3 people from my graduating class.

On Wednesday, we took Brayden swimming for the first time. He absolutely LOVED it! Tyler liked it when he was a baby, but nothing like Brayden. Brayden would claw for the water when we wasn't in it so that he could go crawl around and splash! It was adorable! He'll get plenty of pool time this summer since I signed Tyler up for swim lessons with his friend Talon. We'll all get into the pool and be able to swim every week. I'm really looking forward to that.

Brayden is crawling all over the place these days. I really hoped he would stay a baby longer than Tyler did since Tyler grew up so fast, but no luck! Brayden wants to keep up with his older brother. They have the best time wrestling around. Tyler is so gentle as he rolls Brayden around on the floor.

We been working on improving our house lately. Our friend Heather is painting a pirate mural on the boys' bedroom wall. It's pretty much amazing, so be sure and come see it when she's done. As soon as she's done, Brayden will move in to share Tyler's room. (Right now, he's sleeping in the pack 'n' play in the office!) Besides the mural, we've replaced the lighting fixtures downstairs with ones that are more sophisticated instead of cheap looking. We've also painted the wall in our dining room a nice heather green color and our master bathroom a nice lilac purple color. We have big plans of painting our whole house (mostly a nice neutral brown with some accent walls here and there) so we'll see how long it takes us to get it all done.

Other than those main attractions, we just been keeping busy with Brian working a lot of overtime, hanging out with friends, having fun at parties, going to playgroup and the library, fulfilling our callings (I'm the new compassionate service leader in our ward) and trying to stay sane in the world of 2 kids (who are both Spotts boys!) . We've also got a lot coming up with Memorial Day plans, swim lessons all summer, more home improvements, more parties and more fun! Stay tuned all summer long to hear about our amazing adventures!

We love you all!
