December

Since I've been sick for the last 2 1/2 weeks, I haven't gotten on here to actually update my blog. Sorry this is late, but at least I'm doing it!

December was, as always, a busy month. You read about it being our 5th anniversary and we spent a wonderful 5 days in Steamboat Springs. We had such a great time window shopping, swimming, relaxing in the hot springs and enjoying the mountains and snow. It was just the break we needed!

The rest of the month, before the festivities started, we spent working on painting and tiling our bathrooms. (Thank you so much to some generous family who gave us their left over tile!) They are looking great, but we still have to finish putting the trim back up and getting one toilet back into place, so I'll save a whole post for bathroom remodeling.

Christmas was a wonderful time this year. We were blessed to have family from both sides come to visit this year. We started off the week before Christmas hanging out with Dave, Janna, and Ethan.

Here are the boys opening some of their presents from Grandma and Grandpa.

We did some shopping, hit up Casa Bonita and the Zoo Lights (Sorry, pics are on a different computer, currently) hung out and even had a visit from Santa!!

We all had a great time (except maybe Janna! She was so sick!) and I can't wait to get the boys together again (and me together with Janna!).

We had a great Christmas Morning at our house! Santa brought us a yummy Panettone, some fizzy drinks, a Candy Land Castle and other great goodies in our stockings.

We also had some very nice presents that we gave to each other. Brayden got some bath toys, Tyler got a cork board to put buttons on, Brian got some games and books and I got a new hair dryer! (Yay!)

After Christmas we headed down to Colorado Springs for even more Christmas!! Eric and Heather and the Kids came to be here for Maggie's baptism and to do the Christmas thing here in Colorado.
We had gift opening and food at each set of Grandparent's house, visited Brian's Grandma who had to be in the hospital over Christmas, and hung out with those cousins that Tyler and Brayden love so much!
Tyler even got to try rolling skating for the first time! (He didn't last very long!)

We sure had a fabulous time with all of the celebrating! It's great that we were able to see so much of our family this year. We always have such a great time with those we love!
